When it comes to CSR and sustainability, the marketplace is flooded with badges, seals, and labels. Many of these are ‘verifications’ or self assessments, lighter-weight processes that can play a role but should never be confused with true certifications.

Yes, there’s concern about the proliferation of labels. But I see this moment of having many approaches signals a vibrant movement to improve systems …an era where many people, organizations, and innovators are earnestly trying to tackle the challenges of sustainability from different angles.
It’s natural that a diversity of approaches has emerged.
In the end, my hope is always the same: that the most robust, transparent, and impactful certifications rise above the noise and set the path forward.
