Here you can see what happened after only 3 months of growth for these Tree Dahlia (Dahlia imperialis) cuttings! These cuttings were dropped on my doorstep by a neighbor who was cutting back their trees. So, with no rooting hormone or any special treatment other than removing the wilted leaves, I placed them in 5 gal nursery containers with moist potting soil, and I didn’t have to wait long!
