In Observance of MLK...

“For in the true nature of things, if we rightly  consider, every green tree is far more glorious than if it were made of  gold and silver.” – Martin Luther King, Jr.

Every  third Monday in January, we observe a national holiday to celebrate the  life and remarkable achievements of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. in the  United States. Dr. King was a prominent American civil rights leader who  played a pivotal role in advocating for racial equality and justice  during the civil rights movement.

In  many of his speeches, Dr. King emphasizes the importance of looking  beyond narrow boundaries of perception and embracing a vision of  interconnectedness that goes beyond national or racial divisions.

As  today we are reflecting on the influence of Dr. King and the work we  still need to do to, I wanted to highlight a quote which illuminates the  true value of nature, which is the nature that underlies all of human  existence.  🌍 ✊ 🌿
