Wolffia globosa is the smallest flowering plant in the world. It belongs to the duckweed family (Lemnaceae) and consists of tiny rootless oval-shaped discs what float freely and has high turnover rates (both sexual and asexual reproduction) under tropical and subtropical conditions.
