We talk a lot about “regenerative agriculture” as if it were just a checklist, but on the ground it’s a journey…and it looks different on every single farm.
In this clip, I share why having a certifier who actually walks that journey with farmers is so important: not to just police them, but to document the path.
A good regenerative standard creates a framework, then meets the farmer where they are, capturing the real changes in soil health, biodiversity, and management over time.
Regeneration is deeply local. The right practices depend on that specific piece of land: its soil types, climate, and even the planned “disturbances” like grazing, harvesting, or strategic tillage.
The art is in using those disturbances intentionally, an opportunity to build structure, feed soil life, and move the whole system forward instead of backward.
In this Qredible, Inc. | AI-Driven Product Compliance Automation for Regulated Industries podcast (available on You Tube here: https://lnkd.in/gtqQj5d8 ) we discuss biodivesity, regenerative agriculture and ethnobotany and the opportunity we have the in the natural products industry to make positive change.
If your curious what’s its like to certify a journey instead of a checkbox, and how we can turn necessary disturbance into regeneration, check out the Certified Regenerative standard by A Greener World.
