Wouldn’t We All be Shocked…If There Really Is a…4th Phase of Water? 💧

We all learned that water exists in three phases: solid (ice), liquid, and vapor.

But in recent years, bioengineer Dr. Gerald Pollack proposed a 4th phase of water: a structured, gel-like state called EZ water (short for Exclusion Zone water), which forms next to hydrophilic surfaces like cell membranes or clay particles, inside or outside of organisms.

This 4th phase is more ordered than liquid water, negatively charged, and capable of excluding solutes and particles, creating a clear zone.

It also forms when exposed to infrared light, suggesting water in living systems may use light energy to organize itself—potentially playing roles in cellular energy, hydration, and biological function.

But here’s where it gets more interesting…despite hundreds of experiments, the scientific community remains divided.

Some view EZ water as a revolutionary insight into how water behaves in biological systems; others argue it lacks the rigorous evidence needed to rewrite physical chemistry.

Whether groundbreaking or speculative, it reminds us that we really understand so little about the nature around us. 🌊✨
