I think so. Just back from wildflower exploring in Arizona, we hunted blossoms and found spectacular displays of spring wildflowers throughout the backroads of Arizona desert. Here is one display in the hills near the fun little ‘ghost town’ of Oatman. California poppies (Eschscholzia californica) abound!
Super blooms depend on the right conditions coming together, and with this year’s record rainfall levels after years of drought, some people are thinking it will be an incredible super bloom year, maybe even to surpass 2019 in California. The last most spectacular displays in Death Valley were in years 2016, 2005, and 1998.
However it turns out, it will be good.
