In addition to herbal remedies, physical techniques such as massage, acupuncture, and cupping are sometimes employed used to stimulate the body’s healing processes and restore balance. The practice of spiritualism in healing, including the use of prayer, rituals, and energy work, also plays a significant role, particularly within the Afro-Cuban religious traditions such as Santería.
