Defining Regenerative Agriculture– Just a Few Days Left!!!

If you have some thoughts on what you think is important in a definition of Regenerative Agriculture, now is the time to weigh in… Public Comments are being accepted until the 3rd of September.

This is a unique and potentially historic opportunity to help shape what “Regenerative Agriculture” means in California and beyond, especially as other groups with varying opinions have already weighed in.

In the past, actions and regulations set by California have become drivers for whole industries…this might become true for Regenerative Agriculture, as well. You do not need to be a CA resident to comment.

For the Record, I support the Definition submitted by A Greener World , a top non-profit certifying body for solutions in agriculture. See them here:https://agreenerworld.org/a-greener-world/agw-comments-to-cdfa-on-defining-regenerative-agriculture/

*How to Get Involved:*

Submit your written comments to: RegenerativeAg@cdfa.ca.gov.

The public comment period is open throughout the CDFA and State Board of Food and Agriculture process. September 3rd marks the conclusion of the public comment period for CDFA’s working group draft, but there will be opportunities to provide public comment to the State Board as it goes through its own process to formulate a definition.
