They are often recommended as gifts in Chinese culture to businesses or business owners, as they are also known as “lucky plant”, or “money plant” and have much popularity due to its Chinese belief of bringing luck and wealth.
Jade plants have also earned the name of “the friendship plant”, as they are so easy to propagate pieces off and give as gifts to friends.
